About Mission Trips to Thailand
The kingdom of Thailand lies in the heart of southeast Asia and draws more visitors than any other country in this region. Thailand is well-known for its breathtaking natural beauty, impressive temples, and historic ruins of ancient kingdoms. Thai people offer friendliness and hospitality, adding to the appeal of this country. Among all the beauty of this nation, there is still a great need. Thailand is one of the strongest Buddhist countries in the world, with Buddhism being practiced by 95% of Thais. Millions of people are lost and in need of a Savior.
Ministry in Thailand
Minstry and Outreach
This trip is recommended for those 18 years of age and older
Evangelism is a strong focus of this trip. Global Infusion has multiple ministry locations, and as a result, there are various opportunities to reach people with the love of God through methods such as street-witnessing, working with girls who have been victimized by the sex-industry, or teaching English, just to name a few. Our contact is planting churches in the heart of Bangkok and the surrounding area. Instead of making one big church, he is planting several churches within each region to bring church to the people instead of them having to come to one area. He is also reaching out to those who make the “nightlife” industry happen and to the women who are victims of it.
Teams staying for an extended period of time may choose to minister at multiple locations: urban and village evangelism sites.
