Tenacious.

Tenacious.

Right now, there are people fighting for their lives. For some, it is all around them—the poverty, the hunger, the sickness, the war, the political oppression, the demonic influences. There are people who will go to bed tonight and not know if they will wake up—maybe tonight is the night that their body gives out in the slums, or they will be a target of the militant forces around them, or they will be taken and trafficked, or they will hurt themselves or others because a leader of a false religion told them to. If all of these circumstances sound foreign to you, take a moment and thank God. Then follow that with a prayer request: God, how can I be used to see the Kingdom of Heaven expand on the Earth?

Many people don’t act because they don’t ask. Asking God will get you an answer. If you ask Him how you, who have been born into this generation for a reason, can be used to reach the lost that He died for, I promise you….you will get an answer.

If you haven’t noticed yet, the enemy is not going to stop. At least not until he is completely vanquished (see 1 Corinthians 15:24-26). For now, he has been given a measure of power and he is relentless. Which means we have to be tenacious. Determined to fight against the enemy on behalf of those who cannot fight for themselves. WE are the ones that are called to go after the lost. WE are the ones, who through the power of God inside of us can reach the unreached. And while we may not be able to meet every single need, we know the One who can. But someone has to go. Something must be done. What will YOU do today?
