This month we are launching another LTM (long-term missions) family as full-time GI missionaries. The Speed family will be heading to Guatemala where they will serve with Pastor Oseas and Jane Cordero. The scope of their ministry will include ministry at and through the church, Autèntica Palabra de Vida, their Christian school – Colegio Privado “El Olam” – plus many other opportunities for outreach in the community.

One of our core beliefs and practices at Global Infusion is this: short-term strengthens the long-term.

We’ve sent out hundreds of  STM (short-term missions) teams over the past two decades, and they have done a phenomenal job fulfilling the goals placed upon us by our contacts and missionaries that have a plan to reach their nation for Jesus. Each time we go, their vision is accomplished more and more, which results in souls being saved, families being restored, disciples launched, and physical needs being met.

When we send LTM’ers, the impact can be tremendously multiplied. Adding long-term missionaries to serve consistently truly accelerates the time-table of the vision and goals. This does not come without incredible sacrifice and calling – to walk away from full-time jobs and relocate your family to another part of the world for the express purpose of spreading the Gospel to see lives changed is no small thing. Pray for the Speed family: Lee, Beth & Matthew.

Global Infusion’s true anniversary is July 25, 2003—but we celebrate it in September.   Pray about how you can give this year, to support Global Infusion as we go where the need is greatest to see people reached for Jesus.
