Twenty-one.

Very few people on our planet will have the tremendous opportunity to visit God’s beautiful continent of Africa. For longer than Global Infusion has been in existence, I have had the honor to build a relationship and work in partnership with Pastor Daniel Yaw Akuoko, who is located in Ghana, West Africa. 

Pastor Daniel has an incredible story — growing up in a village, one of twenty-seven children (one father, multiple mothers), and only by the miraculous grace of God, he was given an educational opportunity that allowed him to exit his village, obtain a high-school diploma and college degree. From there, he became a high-end manager at a successful company. But his story doesn’t stop there.

After achieving success in business, God called him to leave it all and go into full-time ministry. Without hesitation, he said yes.  Over the past 30 years, Pastor Daniel has launched a city church, more than 10 village churches, and multiple schools for village children who otherwise would not have an opportunity to be educated. A sacrifice was made by one man, and thousands of people benefited; and for more than 20 years, GI and Grace & Faith Ministries have been working together to grow the Kingdom of God in West Africa.

Global Infusion’s true anniversary is July 25, 2003—but we celebrate it in September. On launch day in 2003, Pastor Daniel was the main speaker at our event — now 21 years later, he will speak again at the GI Anniversary Banquet.  Your prayers, support, and those who have travelled with us to Ghana have been a big part of seeing souls reached and transformed for Jesus. Pray about supporting GI on our 21st anniversary!
