Global Infusion:  TEAM NEPAL 2015

One of the greatest feelings in the world is to find something you have lost that was either valuable monetarily, or valuable in personal significance.  We have just celebrated Easter, and most of us have thought more about the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus more than other times of the year.

Could you imagine being one of the women who went to visit the tomb, only to find out that the person you lost to death was not there, but had risen from the dead?
But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”  Matthew 28:5-6 (NKJV)
Global Infusion:  TEAM MIDDLE EAST 2015
Last month, Global Infusion had 4 different mission teams out bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to some of the most remote and unreached places on the planet.  From the mountains of the Himalayas, to deep in the Middle East, to some of the most destitute areas of Central America, our teams reached the unreached.  I am always amazed to watch the reactions of people who hear about Jesus for the first time.  It is like they have found what they have been searching for their entire life.  When they accept Him as their Lord and Savior, you can literally see their countenance change.

The gods I have seen people worship around the world are men who have lived, but died.  They are fictitious characters that were dreamed up (or seen in a nightmare).  They are ideas that have been passed from generation to generation, yet they are false.  However, when the name of Jesus is mentioned, the spiritual atmosphere changes.  It is Jesus, and Jesus alone that will save them.  And the irony of people “finding” Jesus, is that that they are the ones that are lost, not He.   We do not need to visit an empty tomb, because He is risen.  Instead, we must go and tell the world that the sick can be made well, the blind can see, and lost can be found.
